李方元个人展览《丹青不渝》- “Colori indelebili”, mostra individuale di Li Fangyuan

The energy gathered by artistic expression is like a hotbed for creators. The techniques and methods in it can be effectively used in creation. If you add innate creativity to your work, it becomes a way to convey feelings and emotions that fascinates the audience.

The first impression of Li Fangyuan’s work is profoundness, the vastness of the themes, solutions, and images. The second impression is to marvel at the painter’s infinite imagination, which shows his close connection with his native land. Li Fangyuan’s art is mainly devoted to expressing the themes of his life, not just to move the audience. Therefore, in all his works, it seems that he is trying to understand nature, depict it in a fresh and real way, merge with nature, and merge with it perfectly.

When they asked me to introduce a Chinese painter who died in 2018 at the age of 88 and painted about a thousand paintings, I thought: “He may be one of the many painters of landscapes, animals, etc.” However, when I saw his works, I completely changed my mind. While looking at his work, I was drawn to his ideas until my eyes came to the painting of the hawk hunting: I particularly liked this one because it brought life to the scene through the clever use of black, which contrasted with the dark sky. I also appreciated the use of black in the painting of the three roosters making their crows: I tried to understand what series of details gave me the impression that those roosters could fly away at any time. The use of black ink also gave rise to a series of other paintings, among which I particularly liked some of the paintings that reproduced quiet and peaceful landscapes, in which the painter was able to convey the feeling of wind and rain with great skill. Li Fangyuan is the best master of painting red cotton. It is this skill that makes me say: “He is really a great artist”. It is true: anyone who appreciates Li Fangyuan’s work will find the use of color and light in it impressive, conveying a sense of tranquility and curiosity about life and the world.

L’energia raccolta dall’espressione artistica è come una fucina di creatori. Le tecniche e i metodi in essa contenuti possono essere utilizzati efficacemente nella creazione. Se aggiungi creatività innata al tuo lavoro, diventa un modo per trasmettere sentimenti ed emozioni che affascinano il pubblico.

La prima impressione dell’opera di Li Fangyuan è la profondità, la vastità dei temi, delle soluzioni e delle immagini. La seconda impressione è quella di meravigliarsi dell’infinita immaginazione del pittore, che mostra il suo stretto legame con la sua terra natale. L’arte di Li Fangyuan è principalmente dedicata all’espressione dei temi della sua vita, non solo a commuovere il pubblico. Pertanto, in tutte le sue opere, sembra che stia cercando di comprendere la natura, di raffigurarla in un modo fresco e reale, di fondersi con la natura e di fondersi con essa perfettamente.

Quando mi hanno chiesto di presentare un pittore cinese morto nel 2018 all’età di 88 anni e che ha dipinto circa mille dipinti, ho pensato: “Potrebbe essere uno dei tanti pittori di paesaggi, animali, ecc.” Tuttavia, quando ho visto le sue opere, ho cambiato completamente idea. Mentre guardavo il suo lavoro, sono stato attratto dalle sue idee finché i miei occhi non si sono posati sul dipinto del falco che caccia: questo mi è particolarmente piaciuto perché ha dato vita alla scena attraverso l’uso intelligente del nero, che contrastava con il cielo scuro. Ho apprezzato anche l’uso del nero nel dipinto dei tre galli che cantano: ho cercato di capire quale serie di dettagli mi desse l’impressione che quei galli potessero volare via in qualsiasi momento. L’uso dell’inchiostro nero ha dato origine anche a una serie di altri dipinti, tra cui mi sono piaciuti particolarmente alcuni dipinti che riproducevano paesaggi silenziosi e pacifici, in cui il pittore è stato in grado di trasmettere la sensazione del vento e della pioggia con grande abilità. Li Fangyuan è il miglior maestro della pittura del cotone rosso. È questa abilità che mi fa dire: “È davvero un grande artista”. È vero: chiunque apprezzi il lavoro di Li Fangyuan troverà impressionante l’uso del colore e della luce in esso, che trasmette un senso di tranquillità e curiosità per la vita e il mondo.
